The “All-American” woman is diverse. We’re of all shapes, sizes, ethnicities, backgrounds, and beliefs; we have strong voices and aren’t afraid to use them; we’re socially responsible and politically active — we want to educate ourselves and make ethically informed decisions about what we put in and on our bodies; we’re business focused and tech savvy — we use technology to optimize our days, allowing us to work harder, smarter, and in more places than ever before; but, we also know how to prioritize self-care — whether that means working out, spending a night in with friends, trying out a new vegan restaurant, or exploring a new city.
So when our female-led, LA-based team set out to start Year of Ours, there were a few things that were non-negotiable: our clothes absolutely needed to be made in the USA; they needed to be made of the highest-quality and smartest fabrics; they needed to pay homage to the bold aesthetic of classic American sportswear we love so much, but give it some major fit and style updates, and the styling needed to feel fresh and effortless to accommodate the no-day-is-the-same lifestyle of the “New American” woman.
